Small Groups
Our small group program is a central part of how we encourage spiritual growth at Fellowship. In response to the preaching and teaching we receive together on Sundays, smaller groups of believers gather in homes to provide regular opportunities for the study of the Word of God, discussion, and prayer. It’s a more relaxed way to get to know each other, to grow in appreciation for the different gifts God has given our church, and to encourage each other in the church. Small groups generally meet weekly from the end of September to the end of May. All groups study the same book of the Bible and take turns participating in service opportunities in the church. If you'd like more information, please email smallgroups@fellowshipchurch.ca.
Youth Groups
CTG Youth Group
Called to Greatness is a junior youth group of enthusiastic young people ingrades 5-8 from a number of local churches. Called to Greatness encourages youth to actively learn and grow in their faith through social interaction, fun activities, praying, and learning God’s word. We endeavour to meet monthly to talk, have snacks, work on activities, have games nights or do outings like the Amazing Race, Lazertag, etc. For more information, please contact ctgyouthgroupburlington@gmail.com.
High School Youth Group
High School Youth Group is for those from grades 9-12 and is intended to encourage students to grow in their relationship with Christ and with each other. We meet every 2nd Sunday at 7 PM along with youth from a number of local churches. For the coming year (2023/24) we are working through the book “Respectable Sins” by Jerry Bridges and using it as a tool to foster discussion, Bible study and prayer. Along with our regular meetings, we also organize fun outings like treetop trekking, campfires, and beach days as well as service opportunities where we give back to the community. For more information, please contact youthgroup@fellowshipchurch.ca.
Young Adults
The Burlington Young Adult group (BYA) is for those over the age of 18 with the vision of providing young people opportunities for faith formation, fellowship and service. For the coming year (2023/24) we are planning to have monthly meetings where we enjoy a night of games, worship, and study. Each meeting we invite speakers to facilitate a discussion on the spiritual disciplines of the Christian life (ie. bible study, prayer, fasting etc.). The aim is to introduce a specific discipline and walk through both the biblical basis and what it might practically look like in the Christian life. We’re excited about BYA as we seek to help young people grow in Christ. For more information, please contact burlingtonyoungadults@gmail.com.
Men’s Ministry
Watchmen Prayer Breakfast
Men from our church meet on a couple of Wednesdays a month for an hour in the morning to share food and conversation. We go through a theme relevant to men and their relationship with Jesus Christ, and then spend some time praying for each other. It's a relaxed way to get to know each other better and provide support in becoming a more vibrant disciple of Jesus Christ. If you'd like more information, please contact pastormark@fellowshipchurch.ca.
Women’s Ministry
Tuesday Morning Bible Study is a women’s bible study that runs on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 AM. Women come together to open God’s Word, to pray together, to share joys and burdens, and to praise our awesome God. Such a beautiful way to spend a Tuesday morning. We would love to have you join! Bring your little ones as there is a lovely babysitter and a sweet story hour leader ready to watch your children. For more information, please contact womensbiblestudy@fellowshipchurch.ca.
